I was making an array. This array shows 4 x 3.  I was using counters to make an array.

This is my art on Matariki art. I draw Tane throwing a star. The star broke into seven stars. These stars are Matariki.

My best story

In this story I worked hard to make my story make sense. I looked for where fullstops and commas should go. I also added in capital letters for name of a place, for the name of a person and for the start of the sentence.

In four or five or seven months I am going to Sydney. On the way we are going to go to Seaworld and Movie World. I am going on a Plane to Australia. I am going to the gold coast and to seaworld. We might go swimming with the shark my mum does not want me to go swimming with the shark. She doesn’t mind me going swimming with the dolphin. I am so excited to go to Sydney. It will be my first time going to Sydney and my first time I will remember being on a plane but i have been on a plane when i was two. It is my first time going to Movieworld and Seaworld. Seaworld has lots of fish, dolphins, sharks and lots of rides. Maybe I might go swimming with the shark. Me and my brother and my mum and dad are going to Sydney for a wedding. It is my cousin Blair’s wedding. This will be my second time at a wedding. I am bursting to go to Sydney. I am staying in a hotel or motel. I am so  excited to go to a motel or hotel. When I get to Seaworld I am going to go zoom to the shark. I am not sure what type  of shark it is. Then i will sprint  to the dolphin. I am going on about four planes and I am going to Brisbane. We are going on a plane to Australia, Gold Coast,  Brisbane and back to New Plymouth. I am so excited to go to Brisbane,  Australia, Sydney, Movieworld and Seaworld.
